Notice: this calculator provides a simplified estimate of severance pay, calculating the daily salary as gross monthly salary ÷ 30 (a common payroll convention). The pro-rata extra payment amount is only calculated if you indicate that you receive it separately (14 payments); if it is already pro-rated into your gross monthly salary (12 payments), it is not added again, to avoid duplicating it. The compensation for "end of fixed-term contract" (12 days/year) does not apply to interinidad (cover/replacement) contracts, which legally do not generate compensation. It also does not cover every other specific case (unfair dismissal, collective redundancy, agreements with specific conditions, etc.). The actual severance calculation should be done by your payroll department in accordance with the Spanish Estatuto de los Trabajadores and the applicable collective agreement. Clockio does not replace professional employment advice. This calculator is based on Spanish labour law (Estatuto de los Trabajadores, Social Security contributions). If your company operates in another country, the results are for guidance only.
